Each moment we stand on the precipice of limitless futures. Influenced by ourselves and by others, by cosmos and by chaos. A flow, a pattern, a construct, from one moment to the next. The trouble isn't in noticing this, or even in acting on it.
It's in being present.
In taking each moment as it comes with mindful awareness, love, and play. In noticing that you are not that little voice in your head, you are not your success nor your failures. It's not that simple.
Look Closer.
Notice the subtleties. Notice who it is that is talking, or listening, or both. Notice the ever-changing nature of phenomena, of experience, of You. Look closely and the walls of your self-made prison may start to crumble and fall away. The default mode begins to crack. You realize that there is no difference between what you see out "there", and what you feel in "here". All at once you're the closest thing there is to God.
You and everything else.
Each of us, each second, stands on the brink. The brink of everything we have ever wanted, everything we have ever worked for, ever yearned for, or cried for.
For didn't the past bring you here?
No matter how small or grandiose a moment, how oblivious or sublime, each are manifestations of all that is and ever will be. The Happening.
Nothing to stop it, nothing to slow it down.
